I want to know if it is allowable for a man to use stones in their ring?I have been facing issues in my life and I saw an ad that tells that my birth stone may help. But I just want to make sure that I am not doing something which is prohobited in Islam?

If it is proven scientifically that a stone can help cure some physical or similar problem, there is no harm in using it. However, if one thinks that stones have some supernatural effects on the life of a person and can bring good luck to him — then this is mere superstition and hence should be avoided because superstitions more often than not lead to polytheism.
