A Purposeful Life
If without purpose we live
Control to the devil we give
Discover our talent we must
Lest it rots and becomes rust
Reflect we must on our inner self
And on Socrates’ ‘know thyself’
To young ones teach this fashion
Profession springs from passion
Focussed we will always remain
Even when others show disdain
Scarcely will we be depressed
Fresh and fit; seldom stressed
Let’s contribute in our humble way
To live forever when we pass away
People will remember us and say
This person has made our day!
