Let kindness be our goal
And of every human soul
A serene and soft voice
Must be our only choice
To comfort the wailing
And soothe the ailing
And if the sun is sizzling
Or when rain is drizzling
Run inside to find a mat
For that stray timid cat
Water the dry plants in heat
Heed the thirsty bird’s tweet
Dogs wounded and helpless
Need some souls selfless
The elderly crossing a road
The feeble carrying a load
The blind boarding a bus
The senile creating a fuss
Need a caring helping hand
May the bond of humanity stand!
