Positive Thinking
Brooding and complaining
And on grievances wailing
Is seldom the solution
To unfair distribution
And things beyond control
And problems on the roll
Rise we must to confront them
Strive we must to blunt them
Brightness may then emerge
From darkness and converge
To light up a new solution
To disperse clouds of pollution
Let us hope against hope
And cling on to that rope
That we call positive thinking
Striving undaunted, unflinching
