If we want to live a happy life
And remain free of mental strife
Simplicity is the simple answer
Tension from us does it transfer
An obvious way to simplicity
Is to forever shun publicity
Simple life and simple living
Afford us the chance of giving
And look beyond our needs
And do some noble deeds
Warmly care for the deprived
Who in anguish have survived
If relations we want to build
And keep our family thrilled
To modest ways let us adhere
Plain and humble let us appear
